Chalkboard Frame

Decorating idea! Turn one of our cute frames into a chalkboard. It's so simple! I purchased a can of chalkboard spray paint from the craft store and sprayed the backing of the frame. I chose the Oh-So-Oval Sonoma frame in white (12x18) and LOVE the way it turned out. There are so many fun applications for the stylishly-framed chalkboard. Create a message board, a board for the kiddos to doodle on, a menu board....there are so many possibilities!

Swiss Days and Blue Cricket Design

Swiss Days...WOW! For 10 years I have faithfully attended Swiss Days, never missing! It's a tradition I started with my mother-in-law after getting married and have loved going every year. We get up super early Friday morning and make the drive up to Midway, shop like crazy until lunch time, eat a Swiss (Navajo) Taco :), make one more walk through to purchase anything we decided we couldn't live without and then head home. It's an exhausting and fun experience every year.

This year, however, was a completely different adventure. It's a whole new ball game being a vendor at Swiss Days. What a riot! The news reported that 80,000-100,000 people attended Swiss Days this year. I totally believe it! I met so many cool people. One of which is Becca of Blue Cricket Design who featured us on her blog.
